Picture of the baby at about 9 weeks. It's so silly. Dropping the job was so much stress... now I don't want to freelance! Of course, I need to keep up contacts as long as I can. I think part of it is my mind's taken a mental vacation. I've finally gotten to enjoy being pregnant, instead of putting it on the back burner trying to get work done.
I covered a group trying to get a dog park built last night- tonight, I get to hear Carol Jessup speak about her book. Sunday, story about an event where i got married, where little girls get to be princesses for a day.
So at least the stories will be about stuff I am slightly interested in.
Daisy hasn't gotten over the fact I'm home. She always has to be right next to me.
So i had to have an untrasound done yesterday- I had some spotting when I was working, most likely due to hacking up a lung, morning sickness, and stres all bombarding me at the same time. I've felt great in the last couple of weeks- the stress lifted when I decided to leave the job.
So anyway, first I had to chug down 32 ounces of water before going. Eric thought the fact that I would have to go down having to pee was hilarious. It actually made me frustrated. I have a tiny bladder and it was painful.
So first, I had the ultrasound done like that. Then I had to do another one, inside. Man, that gel is cold! But I got a neat picture out of it.
Saturday, Dad got to tell all of his friends. I mean, the secret has been out of the bag, but I had always imagined waiting three months to tell anyone. But it was worth it to get the support I needed.
We went to his friends house for a corned beef and cabbage dinner. You can ask anyone, I start drooling at the mouth for this feast for, like, 2 weeks before it happens. I am one of those weirdos that like potatoes, carrots, cabbage, and corned beef.
I actually haven't ben craving candy that much lately- it's so depressing. I have a bag of Cadbury mini eggs, and a couple boxes of cream eggs, and 'potatoes' from See's Candies.
*sigh* my favorite candy time of year, and I dont want chocolate. very depressing.
At least I'm eating healthy. I ate a whole carton of strawberries by myself yesterday, and are planning to get more, lol. Now that I have the time, I made sure to stock up with some fruits and veggies I can snack on. I've been taking bananas and apples to work, but now I have carrot stucks and dip, and a fairytale squask I'm going to bake- yum. I haven't bene dringking enough water working, so I'm really trying to drink more now.
